Michelangelo Sistine Chapel Exhibit

 Went to the Michelangelo Sistine Chapel Exhibit at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum (Grand Rapids, MI). I am not sure about the rationale for the Sistine Chapel being featured at a Presidential Museum but am grateful for the experience.

Marlene and I have been to the Chapel in Rome twice. This exhibit wonderfully complemented our
visits. The Chapel itself is so awesome, so spectacular that it overwhelms the senses. Here we were able to examine specific scenes close-up. Some of these are pictured: creation, ceiling frescoes, and last judgement.

Do not miss this exhibit if you live in West Michigan (here until September 11) and if not, watch for it in your area.
